School Supplies
Southwest ISD is stepping up to support our students and families! For the 2023-2024 school year, we are delighted to provide the required school supplies at absolutely no cost to parents for registered elementary and middle school students!
We believe in removing barriers to education and ensuring every student has the tools they need to succeed. You must register for the 2023-2024 school year here to take advantage of this amazing opportunity. We understand that back-to-school expenses can add up, and we want to relieve some of that stress. With Southwest ISD's commitment to providing school supplies, you can focus on preparing your child for a successful academic journey.
The school supplies will be distributed during the first week of school and will be kept at school. Below are the lists of supplies for the different grade levels.
Southwest ISD will continue to provide school supplies throughout the school year. We want to thank our partners below for helping us with our commitment to providing our families with the tools needed for their children to be successful students.
Texas YES
Thank you to our partners for helping us provide school supplies to our families. Texas YES generously is donating school supply kits to all of our elementary students. Each school supply kit includes the following items: colored pencils, crayons, notebook paper, a spiral notebook, a big eraser, glue stick, folders with pockets, folders with pockets and brads, a ruler, pencils, ballpoint pens in black and red, and a box of tissues.
HEB
HEB is offering the opportunity for one of our elementary campuses to choose 1 teacher to “shop” on behalf of the school for 90 seconds in the school supply aisles of one its stores. The School Shopping Spree will take place on August 10th. Details to follow.
